I was really looking forward to the high tea experience, but unfortunately it was one of the most disappointing I’ve had. The tea lacked flavour, the sandwiches tasted stale rather than fresh, and the desserts also seemed old and dry. Even the scones, which are usually the highlight of a high tea, were hard and not enjoyable at all. Overall, the food did not feel fresh or worth the price. The location and atmosphere also didn’t live up to expectations, making the experience even more underwhelming. Sadly, I left feeling like the quality was far below what I would expect from a hotel offering high tea. I wouldn’t recommend it and won’t be returning unless there are significant improvements.

For a hotel of this size it was remarkably quiet (you can't blame the hotel for a guest deciding to sing in the corridor). Our room was very spacious and the bed super comfortable. The sheets were of great quality - so lovely to sleep in. The water pressure in the shower was awesome - that's very much appreciated. The location is great - so close to City Park and the snow monkeys and the shortest walk to great restaurants. Parking in the surrounding streets was easy and free after 6pm and from Saturday afternoon.
