Wow I’m impressed - haven’t stayed here since it was renovated. Our room was so nice, I love that the TV is now on the wall, and that they kept the bath - as it’s so nice to have that option. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was so good, much better than I thought it would be. The bedding was very comfortable and even though we had an airport facing room, we heard nothing. After a great nights sleep we left before breakfast due to an early flight. Whilst I can’t always justify the expense - you can’t deny the convenience and for a 6am flight, it was our best option. I’d happily return again in the future

Stayed at the parkroyal for 1 night prior to travel to Bali. Check was good as I given the choice of which side of the hotel. Took an airport side room which was very noisy as both runways were in use: east/west and the north/south. We ate dinner in the restaurant food was actually pretty good but not cheap as per many airports ariund the world. Issue was the noise from the planes as the airport does go 24 hours and the clicking sound which kept us awake so we had to change rooms, we couldn't work out where it was coming from as the air con was off. Next visit I would stay in the city view room which was a bit quieter.

On 14 May 2026 I booked and paid for two rooms, for two people, for the night of 25 June 2026 at the Melbourne airport Parkroyal. When we checked out early morning on 26 June I made sure that we didn’t need to pay anything further. But then, on checking my Visa account on 6 July 2026 I was surprised to find that I was charged $290.59 on 26 June. I phoned the ParkRoyal immediately and was told that I had been charged in error and that I would receive a refund “urgently”. It is now late on 13 July and there is no sign of it! Very bad accounting, very bad service!!! Had I not checked my Visa account and noticed the charge I would have definitely lost the $290.59. Not good! And I am still waiting! It appears that Parkroyal is very quick to obtain your money, but very tardy to give it back!
