Best Western Drouin Motor Inn

Stayed in a standard room with king bed but had two singles pushed together. Room Clean and comfortable but bed a little hard. Bathroom was small but tidy and a great shower. Basic but ample for $110 a night.

Whilst this motel has been upgraded with some pleasant features, it is NOT of a 4 star standard. My supposedly top range king room had bashed walls, stained carpet and sheets which did not look totally clean. Whilst the receptionist was pleasant and courteous, she did not indicate that no breakfast could be ordered and so I needed to buy breakfast provisions. It is one thing to upgrade a motel with care and another to run it properly. I certainly will never return!

Unfortunately the rooms on either side of us had a party between them going until 1.30 am and the phone number in the information book was incorrect so we couldn't alert management or police. Apparently the motel has recently changed hands and all the information had not been updated. The room was reasonably clean and presented wll.
