The hotel declined on several occasions to answer the phone - I had two simple questions about the accommodation. They were unable (i.e. unwilling) to call outside Australia. After a fruitless exchange of emails, I finally managed to speak to the manager. She said that reception closes at 7.00, and that later check-in requires you to have an Australian mobile, which is not possible for us. If you are an international visitor, exploring the Great Ocean Road, I suggest that you avoid the Comfort Hotels in the town and go elsewhere, whch is what we did. I did speak to another Comfort Hotel in Warrnambool, which was unable to help.

Great place to stay on our road trip. Ashleigh was very helpful, friendly, professional, and couldn't do more for us. Central location with shops nearby. Off street parking and easy access. Will stay again. Thanks Ian Indulgence Tours Port Macquarie

A great hotel with excellent beds. It has coffee and tea making facilities. Around the corner restaurants for breakfast or dinner. The hotel is clean and looks neat. There is a parking space for cars. There are also groups staying here.
