Marwood

Another lovely stay at Marwood Villas. A very special place. The gardens beautiful and blend perfectly into the bush. The villas cosy, clean and well equipped. The bed, fire and spa bath perfect. Breakfast provisions and wine. The owner easy to communicate with and the caretakers lovely people who take great pride and joy in their work and surroundings. Would highly recommend Marwood Villas.

The villas are located in a beautiful complex surrounded by forest, where you can start a nature walk right outside your door, or reach the town center with just a 20-minute walk. The villa itself is spacious and comfortable, a real pleasure to stay in—especially with a crackling fire in the fireplace, a soak in the jacuzzi, or when a kangaroo comes up to the window. Spotless cleanliness and a well-equipped kitchen, complete with thoughtful extras for a continental breakfast.

What a special place. The villas are located in a quiet bush location walking distance into Halls Gap. They are very comfortable, well equipped and good value. Firewood, continental breakfast and a lovely bottle of wine are included. The bed is very comfortable and the spa large and welcoming. There are several villas but they feel private and individual. The grounds are immaculate including a lovely little lake. Beautiful gum trees, Amazing birdlife and wildlife. The caretakers Cameron and Deb are welcoming and caring. Max the owner is easy to communicate with. We would very highly recommend Marwood Villas and a trip to explore the beautiful Halls Gap and Grampians.
