Sillett House

Sadly our lovely bed and breakfast is currently closed, due to personal reasons ....... We may open again but for the time being we are not taking any further bookings! When we first arrived the house looked very welcoming from the outside. Offroad parking is always a bonus and this was available. Sadly we were greeted with 'Oh you are early' not a good start. The hallway was dark and dingy and the stair carpet needed a good hoover. We were flying to Italy the following morning and needed to be at Gatwick by 7:15am to be informed we dont do early breakfast. Our room was spacious with a large comfortable bed and en-suite. The windows didnt open in the bedroom and the smell from a diffuser was overpowering which I had to stand outside on the landing. Great if you are a shower person not so great if you like a bath. Impossible to reach the taps because of the inflexible glass shower screen. The owner was very helpful regarding directions to the town for something to eat and to the airport.

My husband booked a stay at Sillet House for us for my birthday. We have a lovely large room (beautiful decor with a huge super-king bed) and the location is just a 10 minute walk into Horsham. Alyson spoiled us with her generous hospitality and there was a great choice of hot and cold foods for breakfast. Highly recommended.
