Several of my family members stayed at the Pathfinder Motel in late August 2026 for 4 nights. The location is great, right on a tram line, and was easy to get into Melbourne city by tram on the Friday night. Our rooms were good, comfortable, with everything we needed, and the staff were most helpful. I think the Motel is under new management and many of the rooms and facilities are being renovated. I would happily stay here again.

The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, the building is very dated but as a budget Motel it is very good. There is off street parking which is great and the pool was also very good too! Overall it is a nice place to stay for those on a budget!!

It’s taken me so long to post this review. Quickly booked online as was the closest accommodation to Epworth in Camberwell. Someone had used the toilet, cobwebs everywhere, absolutely filthy, honestly don’t know how this place is allowed to remain open. Cockroaches, blu tack used to hold back curtains, I stood on a towel to shower, to avoid the broken tiles. I didn’t expect high end for $140 per night, but clean at least, would have been nice. I did discuss the state of the room with the manager. “Sorry about the cockroach”. For your own health and safety STAY AWAY! The picture displayed was “something” behind my bed.
