Best Western Banjo Paterson Mtrin

If you are looking for a good bed and pillows and nothing else you should stay here. Unfortunately, this is the only good thing about this motel. We stayed there 20th April 2026 and found mould in the shower, ants in the bathroom and on the bedside table, a screw protruding 50mm out of the bedhead right next to the pillow. Burn marks in the ceiling, cracks and holes in the wall behind the desk, tap handles loose in the shower and hand basin with one tap dripping. I can add that prior to arriving we received a text message advising that we had been given an upgrade? If this was an upgrade, I am glad we were not allocated to the originally booked room.

Spent two enjoyable nights on a round trip to Melbourne. On both nights our room was clean and comfortable and Ken could not be more helpful. Enjoyed a relaxed meal at Cathy's Asian Kitchen on the second evening. Overall great value for money and will definitely return next time we need a stopover.

Friendly service & nice room. Has a laundry with coin operated washer & huge dryer.
