Aura on Flinders Apartments

Our experience at this property was excellent. We arrived before the scheduled check-in time and the staff member assigned us a room anyway, treating us to an upgrade to an apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and an exceptional view of Melbourne's Yarra River waterfront. The apartment was equipped with every comfort, clean and comfortable. The location is very central, a 1-minute walk from the free tram stop that operates in the center of Melbourne. A 10-minute walk from Marvel Stadium where we went to watch an Australian football game. 100% recommended

A good 4 night stay in a spacious and very clean small apartment in a convenient location. Short walk to Southern Cross Station, Crown Casino and Docklands Stadium, 15 min walk to MCG. Numerous great restaurants, cafes and bars in the area. Good hot water and water pressure, good WiFi. Excellent kitchen and equipment for longer stay. Washer and Dryer. Table, chairs, lounge. Balcony with furniture. Fob secure access to building, lifts and room. Nice friendly staff. Bed was on the floor (i.e. no legs on base) and wasn't the most comfortable, but otherwise a reasonable price and fairly comfortable stay. Would stay again.

Checked in, went to room on 18th floor in an elevator that looked to be getting repairs which is always unnerving. Floors in hallway were filthy, walked into room had a very quick look around and noticed lots of unclean cushions, mirrors, floors and toilet. Went back downstairs and checked out. I would not recommend staying here.
