Second time staying here, overall like the place - in general clean, quiet, and neutral smelling (hotels that smell too much like cleaning products or air freshener bother me). The main gripe I have with the recent stay is just how hard and uncomfortable the mattress was. I don’t remember this being an issue last time I stayed (4 years ago), so either the mattresses are due for replacement, or we got unlucky and put into a room with a dodgy one. Would still stay again if the price is right, but if other places in the area are cheaper I’ll be giving those a try.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I continue to love the location. It is incredibly convenient, with easy access to trams and trains, and there is a lovely large park right across the street. A quick tip for those arriving by Uber or Didi: The hotel is located on a busy main road with no designated drop-off bay. Due to the construction currently happening right next to the hotel, there is absolutely no space for drivers to stop safely. This makes arrival quite stressful, as you have to unload your luggage quickly while watching out for passing cyclists and oncoming traffic to avoid obstructing the road. While the room facilities are showing some signs of age, the room was kept very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable, and I really appreciated the consistent hot water and strong water pressure in the shower. The kitchenette was well-equipped, though I hope the maintenance team could pay a bit more attention to the kitchenware, as some of the pot handles were loose. Overall, it was another great stay and a very positive experience. I would definitely consider staying here again!
