Budget motel which did the job. The current owners are leaving shortly and perhaps standards have slipped slightly as a result. The room was tidy and comfortable with a lovely large bathroom. The room had been cleaned but there were layers of dust on some parts that had been missed. The outside area was a mess - lots of weeds and no real care taken. I imagine that new owners will rectify these flaws as it has a lot of potential. However this was a budget option and I was generally happy with the room.

Booked and paid for this hotel via Wotif website just a couple of hours prior to our arrival. Arrived there at 9.30pm and rang bell, knocked on door at reception, rang phone number provided by Wotif but disconnected. Waited outside for 10min trying to raise someone to come to door but no one came. Another customer arrived and was also having issues - he had a 2nd contact number however the person advised him that the business was having issues, so we had to find last minute alternative accomodation and pay more money. Thankfully Wotif refunded our money however DO NOT book and pay money to this hotel - they are obviously in some sort of financial trouble and do not respond to phone calls and/or emails. Stayed at Farnham Court in Morwell and its a lovely hotel complex on the main road

One night stay for weekend sport. 1 Adult and 1 16 year old. Good size room (#3) Renovated bathroom was good. Access to room is by stairs. A bit noisy latenight with people in nearby laneway on a Saturday night. Would definitely stay again. There is limited parking close to room but wasn't an issue for us.
