Was checking out this morning when the woman behind the front desk went off at one of the room staff. The way she spoke was a disgrace to herself and the owner of this hotel should fire her for making this staff member end up in tears . The fact she even spoke the way she did to a staff member or the fact she did this infront of customers is a total disgrace. My room was 5star but after seeing this I would prefer to make it neg 5star due to the front desk. Food was great from the chef and team but the front of house is below par.

We loved the hotel beautiful rooms A great bathroom with bath and shower Also a great coffee machine Nice cosmetics Our first receipt ironing was ever so welcoming and helpful, also the waiter in the restaurant However unfortunately The car had no cover and were so hot 35 plus in the sun In the bathroom was a leak in the shower Only 1 small tube to make do for shower gel for two people Only 2 coffee capsules for 2 people really bad could not have more than one coffee The owner was not the most friendly nor welcoming person very abrupt We showed her a video clip of cobwebs at the restaurant and was argumentative when shower her the clip A real shame as it did put a downer on our special stay

Firstly Ian in the restaurant was fantastic. He was attentive and lovely to deal with. Restaurant was stunning and our meal was delicious. Unfortunately when we arrived we got stuck in the lift. It had only been installed 3 days prior. We were in there for approximately 5 minutes felt like 1 hour. An apology was offered and I thought maybe a bottle of wine or a chocolate for a gesture would have been nice , but didn’t happen.
