Pensione Hotel Melbourne

Been to this hotel several times and each one have been great. The rooms are clean and the amenities provided are good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great as both major train stations are within walking distance, and two tram stops are also nearby. Rooms can be a bit noisy being close to both the main roads and the viaduct, but rooms are decently soundproof depending on position.

This is a quirky little hotel in a great location near the conference centre and Southern Cross station. Staff are efficient and welcoming, receptionist is there 24/7 and there is a funky little bar/restaurant that has reasonable comfort food at reasonable prices. I also love the book exchange and spaces to sit and read. It's pet friendly so that is a massive plus. And it is affordable. I go back whenever I have business in Melbourne.

I stay here regularly when I need to stay in Melbourne for the night. I stayed with my family in two rooms on this occassion. This is hands down the best value for money accommodation you can get. Clean, comfortable, quiet, central and helpful staff. I wouldn't stay anywhere else due to the value of this accommodation. They're consistently good here. I know this as I have stayed here many times.
