Spent 3 nights at this great hotel. Room was clean and fully functioning. Hotel had great restaurant and bar onsite. Good location close to CBD and transport. Staff very friendly and helpful. Chiara at front reception was very welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Her friendly manner made us feel like we were home. Will stay again

We have just returned from 2 nights staying at Rydges Melbourne. My daughter and I came down to see a show at Her Majesty’s Theatre from Brisbane. This hotel was incredible. From booking over the phone with Luke, who added a few special items to the room for my daughter, to the whole stay. All staff members were so friendly and helpful. They would ask how our day had been and were always smiling. The room was perfect. Very modern and such comfortable beds. Location fantastic also. Across the road from the theatre and a short walk/tram ride to Bourke Street. Pool would be great in the warmer months. Breakfast was a feast and had everything you could want. We had such a memorable stay and a huge shout out to Luke for making it special. Highly recommend

On arrival we received a warm, friendly welcome at reception and were assisted at the self service checkin by a lovely member of the reception team who throughout our stay was helpful, cheery and never let us pass the desk without a wave or a hello - a great start to our holiday. We opted for a Deluxe Corner King room and the view was amazing! Our room was large, immaculately clean, comfortable and spacious with a huge super king size bed looking out at the fantastic city view. There is an environmental option to forego room cleaning/towel and linen changes every day and receive a $10 credit to use in the bar/restaurant, which is a great idea. We did this a couple of times and added it to our daily $25 room credit to enjoy a glass of wine each night. We didn’t eat in the hotel, but had a drink in the bar each evening and found it to be a nice, chilled vibe with the option to sit inside or out on the wrap around veranda area. Staff were attentive, friendly and always happy to help/advise with drink choices. This was our first visit to Australia with Melbourne being the beginning of our holiday and this wonderful hotel, with all the fantastic staff, made our stay very special.
