Quality Suites Deep Blue

I stayed here to enjoy the hot springs and appreciated being able to walk straight down to the springs with ease. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with the grey and aqua room decor giving a wellness vibe. It's a good 4 star hotel and I would stay here again if visiting the hot springs was my priority. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hot springs themselves adjoin the hotel but are priced separately per session, with hotel guests getting a 10% discount and a towel provided for free. The location is just a few minutes walk from the beach and walking track. The town is a fair distance, but walkable and there's a bus if you don't have a car like me. I was on the third floor looking out towards the sea, but it's not a brilliant view, really just a glimpse of the water along with the car park, buildings and skate park. I've uploaded photos of my view standing on the balcony, and the best view you can get sitting inside. It's nice to hear the crash of the waves though. My only criticism is that it would be nice if they had some more basic light food options on the room service menu since there are few other dinner options nearby in the evening unless you have a car. I ended up resorting to Uber eats.

Love it here less traffic then peninsula hot springs smaller but nicer and more intimate

These are not natural pools, but rather a man-made spa. I traveled a long way just to experience this hotel. When I stepped onto the fifth-floor balcony to see what the “Natural Springs” looked like, I was very disappointed. It looked more like a miniature Disney water park than natural hot springs. It was surrounded by a white fence and filled with several hot tubs. If you’ve already been to Deep Blue or you’re from the area, that’s fine. But it’s definitely not worth traveling all the way there just for this.
