The Room was spacious, clean and quiet even the facilities were basic. The bed and pillow were comfortable, so I slept well and the shower was hot enough. The selection of continental breakfast was limited but the taste was on average. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The swimming pool was closed. Overall, the hotel was quite good to have a short stay in Geraldton.

Too noisy for us to stay again. I must point out that management did move us from a super noisy location right beside a busy road on night 1 to no road noise for night 2, but the rooms are simply not soundproofed at all and if you have a neighbour talking, you don't really sleep until they do and you are awake when they are. The rooms right beside Cathedral Ave are the noisiest and the oldest, they appear to not have been touched for 50 years. (Surprisingly, the rooms that back onto John Wilcock Link are actually much quieter) If you can request a room, try one of these rooms that only have 1 neighbour: 15, 16, 25, 26, 32, 39 or 40. You do not want to stay in the rooms with low numbers, they are the oldest and noisiest of the lot! The breakfast was probably the best continental breakfast we've ever had, but it was kinda annoying to constantly ask the staff to top up pretty much every plate, utensil, milk, etc and this was both mornings, so not a one off. The hard-working staff also were expected to move tables and chairs during the breakfast service for either a lunch service or some sort of catering event, which was super annoying/noisy when you are eating and especially when it was only halfway through a 2 hour breakfast service. The price was surprisingly high for what it was and when I compared it with prices of places right on the water, they were much newer and barely cost more. Our first night we had a small baby next door and a guy coughing on and off and the other side was someone who made a phone call close to midnight. (Normally not a problem when you have thick walls) Staff were friendly but the noise issues were just too much for us.

Overall the hotel is good. Clean rooms, small fridge area and dining area.
Walls are a bit thin listening to the neighbors talk. Internet is why it’s only a 3* as it’s complete rubbish.
Disconnected non-stop and couldn’t even open basic websites to review menus.
Would stay again and hopefully they will do something about the WiFi.
