Kalbarri Beach Resort

Very tired place needs some serious TLC. Great base to work from as spent most time at the beach swimming. The apartment we had toilet very slow to refill and we used a bucket a lot and the bathroom needed a desperate fix up. We were looking forward to the spas but they were not working and the barbecue plates can be temperamental so find a good one.

The place is rundown. Spas decommissioned and onsite restaurant closed. The apartments need renovating as decor is dated. My parents needed to have a bucket of water on hand to assist with the toilet. Lights are limited and the balcony is not set up for entertaining. Very disappointing considering we drove 6 1/2 hours for this experience and my extended family came from Victoria. Some fresh paint, new furniture and just general TLC could make this place more bearable. If the distance was less we would definitely be leaving early. Even the vegetation around the apartments could be improved to provide an escape from the flies or an oasis getaway. Simple natural landscaping. I stayed here when it first opened roughly 40 years ago and I don’t think anything was done since then. Not sure an adults only gym makes up for the missing spas. More thought and investment required. Surely at the rates charged upkeep should be covered.

its been a great experience of mine to spend some family time at this resort . me and my family feels great to have that good time together, we need that kind of places more they provide top-notch customer satisfaction
