Enjoyed my stay but as resort is on the edge of town I would hire a car the next time. Tel no’s for taxis outside airport a bit inteluable but got a nice private transfer.

******* All above matters have been discussed with Hotel Management via email, Management wish no further correspondence from us, Management state that it was us that left the room unlocked, with no CCTV evidence to date given to Police, or us to back their claims ****** DIRTY Rooms and Stolen Cars Do not stay here, do not stop, continue straight through to Fresh Water Apartments Our experience with Management along with the condition of the room was disgusting. We had our car stolen from the hotel. The keys were in a secure locked room, which was popped open by the offenders. There is no secure facility for your car, with view of your vehicle visible to the main hwy. Communication between us, the Guest and Victims of Crime and Management at the Resort was less than professional. The Manager accused us, in an email of leaving the door open, going on to state that it was our fault it happened. Furthermore they have made no communication to date with us, to offer support. The room was dirty, marks throughout and spiderwebs hanging from the roof. There was no cleaning products to wash up and "room service" didn'teven top up toilet paper or make beds. The bathroom towels were old and falling apart, with mould growing in the corners of the showers. The pool was run down, with the water features cracked and bolted shut, full of dirty and plant matter and the lawn around the pool needing a mow. No shade over the pool. Reception was continuously locked, unable to gain access to various items, such as pool towels and customer assistance. Prior to leaving this comment I reach out to Management to address all of the above. Management have stated they will take the feedback on, however not wishing to correspond with us further. STAY AT THE FRESHWATER!! The staff there couldn't do enough for us. Absolutely lovely facility and staff are AMAZING!!!

Avoid this place at all costs! The food is DREADFUL!!! Not sure if it’s a different chef on Sunday or if it’s always this bad, but honestly the worst food I’ve eaten in a half lap of Australia! If you can get a good fresh burger in the middle of The Gibb River Road, this restaurant has no excuse for serving something so awful.
