Room 5 - clean and functional. Took a while to find the light switch hidden on the door frame but it was fine. Bit noisey being on the end but it settled down during the evening.

Noisy!! Noisiest room ever. Road noise and pool noise. Paper thin walls. Had to lug suitcases up a flight of stairs. Since it’s says airway motel/ you’d assume most ppl staying here are staying for its proximity to the airport.. so the lack of elevator would put me off ever staying again. No parking.. unless you are very lucky you’ll be parking somewhere on the street. Rooms had been updated.. so that’s nice.. but ours had a very unpleasant odour.. very off putting.. like damp smelling. Overall.. it’s cheap yes.. but the one I usually book was booked out.. I will make sure I book earlier next time for the parking and the elevator and the quiet room. But if it’s budget you’re after.. it’s the cheapest. So there’s that.

Don't let the outside fool you. The rooms are comfy and spacious. They have a very funky electrical and blind system. Good cold fridge, good shower. The bed is hard but still comfortable. The only problem we had was that the CPAP machine would not plug in to either bed side powers points. I was weird because we tried the iron and it plugged in. Thankfully I had my battery with me. Check in was easy because we had been sent a code to open our room door. .The motel is across the road from the railway line where trains blow their horns to warn those on the level crossing. Thankfully there were no trains during the night.
