Geyer

We were greeted in a friendly manner. And the rest of the service was also friendly. We were able to store our bicycles in a lockable room. The room was large enough and sufficiently equipped. The breakfast was well-stocked. Unfortunately, our room was not clean. Dusty and there was dirt on the carpet. Carpet is a no-go anyway.

A truly charming hotel located in the center of the city of Klagenfurt. Small, essential, very clean rooms. Very comfortable bed (the pillows are really very uncomfortable, they need to be reviewed). Room with a nice floor-to-ceiling window, the decor of the room is pleasant. Breakfast is served on the ground floor and ranges from sweet to savory, although the variety of sweet options is a bit lacking. Essential bathroom, bidet not present. For short stays, it is a really nice property. I recommend it.

I had a generally pleasant stay, especially thanks to the very friendly and accommodating staff. The facilities of this city hotel are new and absolutely functional. Access to the room and the hotel in the evening is only via a multi-digit code; it works, but it feels cumbersome and not particularly user-friendly. My room on the 1st floor was quite noisy, and it was very loud early in the morning due to the neighboring construction site. The floor-to-ceiling windows lack a shade; there is only a curtain available, resulting in limited visibility and light protection. The breakfast was fine and sufficiently varied; however, it resembled a hostel more than a hotel in its presentation. It was also noticeable that there is no daily room cleaning. The price is probably in the urban average for the city center. The price is likely in line with the city average for the downtown area. Despite the extensive standardization and the noticeably cost-reducing measures that are clearly aimed at efficiency, the price still seems high.
