KIBI Rooms

Room spotlessly clean and more than adequate for one night but very very small so staying longer you couldn't unpack. Location is okay too, it's on a high street with lots of shops and about 20 minutes from the station. The building is gated with a keycode to get in and another to get in the actual building itself. If I had been a solo female, I wouldn't of like it at all though - getting into the building itself, it is at the very top of 3 or 4 dark sprial staircases, This top floor apartment has been made into lots of little individual rooms - hence the size.

I state that I write this review as a person who for couples always adapts to the essentials (for us the b & b is for sleeping and washing, so no frills) but this was the worst we stayed in. The room we have been allocated should not be proposed as “double”. Two single beds at the sides of the room, 30 cm apart. Absolutely insufficient floor area, with one less bed and therefore as a single would be better. In the bathroom there are only two mini bottles of shampoo and shower. Poor cleaning, both during the stay (the lady just changes the towels, and clean at 8 am only the rooms of those who leave the b & b, waking up of course those who sleep) and on our arrival (hair in the shower and on blankets, very poor bathroom hygiene). Pillows absolutely non-existent, wide and very low, it seems to sleep directly on the mattress. POSITIVE NOTE: Definitely excellent location, close to the shopping center and metro stops, within easy walking distance of the center of Vienna. Also we had a problem with the pipe in the bathroom (it was broken and water was leaking), which was promptly fixed with refund of one of the nights. In short, apart from the location, not recommended!

- Merchant sleep catches tourists (overpriced and lack of hostess or any other service) - 1h30 to get the access codes to the rooms, (codes that turned out to be wrong) then 30 min to be given the universal codes (giving us access to all rooms). – Advice ubuesque or in front of the absence of a cot despite our request by email, we were offered to sleep on the floor or between us. - Very selected photos, rather of the slimy and uninteresting kind, moreover the only cupboard of the microscopic chamber did not open. No reply to the various emails sent since. In short especially go your way, full of other rooms in real hotel much cheaper.
