Our stay at the Meliá Vienna was an absolute disappointment due to the constant disorganization. Upon arrival, they showed no willingness to help us with the language and tried to charge us €60 for an early check-in. When we returned at 5:30 PM, one room was still blocked due to a system error. To top it off, at 10:00 PM we had a water leak in the air conditioning and had to move rooms at almost 11:00 PM.
The cleaning service is terrible: almost every day we left at 9:30 AM and upon returning in the afternoon the rooms were still not made up, having to go down to the front desk to complain and even remind them before leaving on the last day. The hotel tries to compensate for its poor management by giving away drink vouchers at the bar, but logistical incompetence is not fixed with drinks, but with the service that has been paid for.

Being only six stops from the center and a two-minute walk to the subway makes it exceptional for visiting the city.
Spectacular views of the river and the city from the room.
When entering through the mezzanine, you do not interact with the hotel reception. And it is not very accessible to enter through the reception. We checked in at The Level and perhaps we lacked someone with more experience to explain the city, the hotel surroundings, and all that to us.
A curtain fell in our room and it stayed there on the floor for all four nights. But it was not important to us. It is a recommendable hotel; the rooms are very large, with good views, and clean.

Very good stay in Vienna with a reservation made directly on the Melia website due to the very advantageous price offer compared to other sites, with above all a Level room located on a high floor, spacious and comfortable and with an exceptional view of Vienna. The Level service is also very appreciable because we arrived at the hotel at 11 a.m. and the room was not ready, so we were given a pass to access the 57th floor where the Lounge is located, where we were able to enjoy the view but also all-you-can-eat food including hot or cold drinks, petit fours, fresh fruit, and small tapas. The Lounge is accessible from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The hotel is located near a subway station that allows you to reach the center in less than 20 minutes. The hotel area is also located on the banks of the Danube with a nice promenade on the quays, some people even swim there with sand and lounge chairs and a restaurant offer in the evening that is very varied in a festive atmosphere.
The welcome is professional and kind both upon arrival and departure. We tested both restaurants for breakfast. The Flowers on the ground floor is an all-you-can-eat buffet with a wide variety of sweet and savory dishes as well as some local specialties. The Altia restaurant located on the 57th floor (accessible to Level guests) has a slightly more extensive all-you-can-eat buffet but also the option to order various sweet and savory dishes à la carte. Very pleasant and privileged experience.
Very good stay and hotel to recommend.
