Klammer's Karnten

This is absolutely one of the more remarkable places we have been in Austria. The location and the hotel facilities in general makes it a place you want to return to. We would like to highlight the kitchen and the friendly staff and also the Klammers families ability to make Christmas Eve a very special evening. When we return to Gastein area, we will stay here again! :-) Greetings from the Danes

We spent a week at this beautiful hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and you felt the hospitality from the moment you enterend the hotel. The food was delicious and pool and sauna area was spacious and very well kept. We left the hotel early in the morning and the hotel made a great lunch “to go” for the trip home. 5-6 minutes walking distance to the skilift 😀👍

This was a really nice hotel in the pretty town of Bad Hofgastien which we stayed in as part of a DirectSki package holiday. We arrived late on our first night and staff had kindly put a meal sside for us, a nice and much appreciated touch. The meals provided were of a very high standard for half board - probably as good as I've had (in saying that, I'm generally not a massive fan of half board and tend to try to avoid it). Breakfast had good choice with an orange juice press which was a nice touch. Dinner was consistently good and the service in the dining room was excellent. The spa and thermal suites were most welcome after a day in the slopes, particularly the outdoor heated pool. All staff encountered were helpful and courteous. The bedroom had an extremely comfortable beds and was always warm and clean. Bad Hofgastein itself is a very pretty but quiet town. There was very little in terms of apres ski or nightlife so we were very glad to have a nice family run hotel like this one to return to in the evenings.
