Airporthotel Salzburg

Amazing experience at Airporthotel Salzburg, just a short walk from the airport, the terminal is within walking distance Spacious and clean rooms, new linen and towels, friendly, helpful and welcoming staff.

Rude front desk service and very confrontational. Had communication issues using English so made it difficult to understand. Hotel is older but the positive is it is walking distance to airport. Price is reasonable given the area around the airport. Overall, I would not recommend and agree with other reviews of not feeling welcome.

The hotel was exactly what I needed. I had an early flight out of Salzburg airport, and I wanted to return my rental car the day before, walk to the hotel and then walk the morning after back to the airport for my flight. And I did exactly that. I didn't expect the hotel to be so close to the terminal (5-10 minute walk), so it was even more convenient than I expected. Other than that, check-in was a breeze, and the single room was small and adequate. There are no food facilities at the hotel, but I was directed to a restaurant at the airport which was quite decent. The only remark I would have, which is vali to all hotels I stayed in Austria, is that the toilette paper is more like sand-paper, to those who are sensitive to that (like me), and there are no tissues in the room.
