At the beginning, there were some difficulties at check-in regarding our requests that had been discussed in advance. All the more, I would like to explicitly emphasize how professional, solution-oriented, and, above all, customer-oriented the responsible employee at the front office handled it on our day of arrival. She personally took charge of the situation and ensured that everything was subsequently implemented to our complete satisfaction. It is precisely in such situations that the true quality of a hotel shows for me – not by the fact that everything always runs perfectly, but by how challenges are handled. And that was really solved excellently here. The restaurant manager also deserves special praise. With his charming and warm manner, he brightened our day again and again and contributed significantly to us feeling especially comfortable in the restaurant. He was always present, attentive, and always had a friendly word or a smile for the guests. Exactly such people make a stay special and remain in one's positive memory even after departure. We also experienced the entire restaurant team as very friendly and attentive. Breakfast and dinner were varied, fresh, and tasted very good. The selection was absolutely perfect for us, and even with higher occupancy, we always felt well taken care of. We also liked the wellness area very much. The combination of the pool, saunas, relaxation areas, and the beautiful mountain scenery creates a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Our room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Overall, the hotel makes a very beautiful and high-quality impression. Also particularly noteworthy is the dreamlike location in Werfenweng with the impressive mountains all around. After the initial difficulties at check-in, our stay developed in a completely positive way. We will especially remember the people who, with their manner and personal commitment, ensured that we felt welcome and valued as guests. We enjoyed our stay very much and would visit the aja Werfenweng again at any time.

Very nice stay! The dinner in Werfenweng was very high-quality and thrilled us. The staff was top-notch, friendly, and accommodating. Breakfast and the cleanliness of the room were excellent; the rooms and public areas were in very good condition. We also liked the wellness area, and the sustainable focus of the establishment is clearly noticeable. We would love to come back!

After our stay in April, we were now back at the aja Resort Werfenweng for 2 nights. The location is and remains the absolute plus point: The panorama and the hiking trails all around are simply dreamlike. The breakfast buffet is also good. Unfortunately, for what is offered, the prices are simply no longer right in the end – 6.50 euros for a bottle of water at dinner, for example, is simply too much. In addition, there were too many points of friction in total that clouded the overall impression: Room & Bathroom: Unfortunately, the bathroom only had a bathtub instead of a comfortable shower. The whole thing was quite uncomfortable and also very slippery. Reception: The staff at the reception unfortunately leaves much to be desired and shows little professional handling of mistakes. Our balcony door in the first room was defective. The room change worked, but an apology for the inconvenience was completely missing. There was also no apology for our comment regarding the dinner confusion. At check-out, dinner was then also incorrectly charged 4 times instead of 2. Restaurant & Service: Although several employees were working in the restaurant, we did not really feel warmly welcomed there – only 2 employees were truly friendly. At least they still helped us despite the alleged booking chaos (supposedly no reservation and fully booked) and gave us a makeshift breakfast table so that we could get something to eat at all. Wellness & General Defects: The wellness area is more of a "children's paradise" during the day due to jumping children (fortunately, things quiet down after 6 PM). In addition, we noticed several defects throughout the hotel that were already there in April and unfortunately still had not been fixed. If you are looking for the perfect starting point for hiking, this is the right place—however, there is a clear need for improvement regarding the price-performance ratio, the service at the reception, and the culture of handling mistakes.
