My wife and I stayed over a weekend in Salzburg. The restaurant manager is unique. Great guy. It is being rebuilt which did not affect us at the weekend. Food is very good. Room a bit noisy unfortunately. That's the only criticism. Breakfast is very lovingly designed. Jam in small jars to avoid packaging waste. Fruit and fresh sausage and cheese that also deserves the name cheese. With the tram 5 you are Zack in the city. We will stay there again when Salzburg is up for discussion.

The stay was okay. Nothing to shout about. Wouldn’t say it was 4*. Outdated. Easy commute via the city centre, airport, train station. 10-15min bus from the centre and couple minutes walk to/from the bus stop. Check-in was smooth however the receptionist asked if we would like to add breakfast so I asked how much and she didn’t know which was strange. Room could do with modernisation. Pillows were flat. No hanging space in bathroom so had to drape them over the shower. Stated the rooms were soundproof but I could hear the child crying from next door. There’s a coffee machine but you have no pay for the pods (could change to a kettle), slow hairdryer, fridge (full of mini bar stuff), tv (not smart), toiletries.

Located in the south of Salzburg in the Gneis district, right next to the municipal cemetery. The adjacent road is busy 24 hours a day. About 200m from the hotel there is a bus stop (Salzburg, municipal cemetery). From there you can get to the city centre every 10 minutes during the day and every 20 minutes in the evening. The pedestrian zone and all sights can be reached in about 10 minutes, the main train station in about 15 minutes. The room was very spacious and there was enough space available to store and store things. This room features a minibar with drinks, a seating area and a sofa bed. In the bathroom there was a bathtub. Showers could only be done in the bathtub, which could be difficult for older people. Comfort and lighting were optimal. There was always sufficient choice at the breakfast buffet available. The buffet was clearly arranged. Freshly squeezed juice was also available. Compared to other hotels in the city, the hotel is extremely affordable and highly recommended for multi-day city breaks due to its proximity to the city centre. There was free Wi-Fi, the connection quality was top, parking is available in front of the house and in the underground garage. Underground parking costs 12€ per night.
