More than a negative experience; my daughter and her friend stayed for three nights and, aside from some noted shortcomings (lack of care), they were robbed of all the money kept in the room. And it was not a small amount. The hotel declined all responsibility, not refunding the stolen money by claiming that no one had entered the room in their absence, not even the cleaning staff, which was not true because the towels had been changed. A report was filed with the local police.

A reasonably priced conventional hotel for Salzburg, a somewhat expensive city for hotels. Six stops by bus from the central train station and a short walk from the old city through the Neutor tunnel. We had a few hiccups checking in, but these were dealt with sincerely and politely by the staff. The room was acceptably clean and spacious. However, it did not have what I would have thought are standard features in a moderately-priced hotel: no coffee machine, microwave or minifridge.

If you want something budget simple and close to the city centre then this is for you keeping things simple staff are friendly enough breakfast was good a nice range of foods and drinks rooms nothing special but certainly did the job this hotel was nice and warm inside would consider stopping here again had everything I needed
