Appartements Furstauer

The apartment is clean and has a very central location. That said all because it is extremely small, impersonal, expensive and poor service. Stove didn't work on arrival. First I got the promise that it was going to be made on Monday and that I had to understand that it was the weekend. Only to hear nothing and when I asked I was unlucky and I got a one camping pit that didn't work for a mile and I had to make do with that. They didn't put on compensation, "they solved it well." For a week 3100 euros lost with 2 adults and 2 children.

The three of us stayed stayed our first night in a one bedroom apartment opposite reception. This had a lovely long balcony with table and chairs. Sofa bed in living area but there were 3 steps down to the kitchen and second bathroom. For the next four nights we stayed in apartment 8 which was two bedroom and much brighter with a more functional kitchen. Smaller balcony with two chairs off the main bedroom. Everything extremely clean and apartment was very comfortable. Only improvement would be it would have been nice to have been given two towels each for a five night stay. As we stayed in October the closest supermarket was closed so the other one was about a 15 minute walk away. Extremely quiet at this time of year and not many restaurants open so thankfully we had the kitchen. If coming from the bus stop with luggage it is about a 15 minute walk uphill.

The apartment we booked for six people is somewhat small as it has two bedrooms, one with en-suite and one with separate bathroom. The living area where the other two persons should sleep is rather tight and one cannot set the bed for two without moving the table. The kitchenette is small and lacks a microwave. The apartment is not serviced other than removal of rubbish every second day and towel refreshment every Wednesday. The wi-fi requires logging on every time you require to link up. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we were awakened every night by a rowdy group of tenants returning home after 12 every night.
