Hotel Apartment Auwirt

We stood for two nights at the adjacent campsite - passing through to Italy. Two nights, as our youngest should not celebrate his fourth birthday in the car. The welcome was very friendly and personal. Also with some suggestions about what to see and do in the area. The place itself is quite simple. Electricity at some distance (25 m cable drum recommended), no water directly at the site. The washhouse is standard - but above all very clean. With full occupancy, the two showers (men's area) could be a bit scarce. On the first morning we took advantage of the breakfast buffet. This is not cheap, but it was absolutely worth it! Rich, delicious, regional and with good coffee specialties. When the owner overheard that a birthday girl was present, there was another piece of cake with sparkler... Many excursion destinations, especially for children, are within easy reach from here. By bus you hardly need a quarter of an hour to Salzburg. Priced, however, in the upper segment. Two adults, two children, caravan (7m) and car plus electricity at 126 euros.

The hotel was absolutely amazing, very comfortable, warm and cozy. As the location is rural, it is very quiet with stunning views of the mountains in the surrounding areas. And as an added bonus, there was a free local transport pass given on arrival, which really helps save on the trip. Truly a gem, would love to go back

This is the place to be when you visit Salzburg. The hosts are very nice and friendly. They make the stay comfortable and feel like home. I highly recommend this place and there’s even a free bus pass that is given (which includes discounts for some places like cable car up Untersberg mountain or the zoo). Definitely recommend if you are coming to Salzburg! The breakfast provided is also amazing and is a nice place too to stargaze at night and is quiet as well making it a great place for a retreat. The bus stop is also directly infront of the hotel.
