Hotel Fahrner

We stayed here for 4 nights on a short-ski in a mountain comfort room with balcony. Room has enough space for 2 adults. Nice feature is the open cupboard without doors so you can easily store your ski stuff. I agree with previous reviewers that there are not enough hangers and hangpoints to dry wet skigear. Everywhere in the hotel it is nicely warm. Our room was too warm though. Luckily the balconydoor can be put in a tilt position. After the first night we found the matrasses to be too soft causing our lower back getting painful. Yes, we are old 😉. No problem though, on request they swapped it for harder ones. We booked half board which gave us the option to eat at an Asian fusion restaurant in the village: Q. The 2 other dinners were in the hotel itself: Pura. You can choose between 2 fine-dining menus with accompanied wines, which we didn't do, or a la carte. Very good food! The wellness is certainly worth mentioning. Shuttle service is really nice but necessary as the hotel lies in the higher parts of the village. Staff average age is probably around 25 years. They are friendly and good looking, like the rest of this stylish modern hotel. Almost forgot the nice touch of the sweets at the reception area. Electric cars can be charged for free and there is parking space available, not necessarily onsite but at different spots around the hotel.

Noble hotel a bit above St. Anton. Ski shuttle to and from the lift. Heated storage room at the lift for skis. Very nice panoramic sauna on the fifth floor with exclusive mountain views. Service very friendly. Car parking service. So everything very noble - if this is worth the Gekd, is in this hotel around special and in St. Anton in general properly cared for.

The absolute highlight was the half board - very delicious! Our suite was spacious, but had no feel-good factor (no picture on the wall, no decoration, etc.) - seemed cold and uncomfortable. Also, it was very dark (dark furnishings, beams in front of the balcony); not good lighting technology: in the living area only a ceiling light, which was not enough for reading at the table. There was no light source at the desk. There were missing storage areas (shelf, drawer, cupboards) - there was only one open cupboard in the hallway. Also, there were no wardrobe or hooks to hang anything (rain-soaked anoraks, bathrobes, etc.). The bathroom was absolutely not up to the standard of the room; it was extremely small, had no hooks and almost no shelves (the hair dryer was hung by the room fairy to the heating, as there was no room for it). In the shower, the shower gel/shampoo bottles were on the floor, as there was no shelf space. The wellness area is nice but far too small with full occupancy. There are also not enough loungers available; nor are there enough hooks to hang bathrobes or towels on. We found the constant and too loud sprinkling of music in all rooms very unpleasant. On average, guests stay at the Arpuria for only 2 nights - at least in summer. This constant change creates a strange atmosphere.
