Montanara

I had a wonderful stay at the Alpin Hotel Montanara. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted very warmly and felt comfortable right away. My room was very clean, cozy, and lovingly decorated. I would especially like to highlight the excellent cuisine with the wonderful pampering menu. The food was very good, varied, and lovingly presented. The location of the hotel is perfect, especially for excursions, hikes, or simply relaxing in the mountains. You can tell that a lot of love and dedication goes into the work here. I can absolutely recommend the Alpin Hotel Montanara and would be very happy to return.

Optimal location to the ski area, tasteful facilities, excellent cuisine!

At the beginning of March 2026 we stayed with a group of 12 people (including 5 couples) at Hotel Montanara in Flachau for a ski holiday — and what a joy we enjoyed!!! The weather was exceptionally warm, but despite that the slopes, especially until 14:00, were fine. The location of the hotel is really ideal: right next to the Achterjet ski lift, so you can get on the slopes in the morning. That makes the stay extra comfortable for skiers. The hotel itself has also surprised us very positively. The rooms are nice, well-kept and comfortable. The food is of excellent quality and every meal was a surprise. Those who did not eat meat and fish were taken into account. However, what really made the difference for us was the staff. So incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful – nothing is too much to ask. You immediately feel welcome there. We all enjoyed this stay very much and look back with great pleasure on a fantastic week. A place we would definitely go again. ⛷️😊
