Mountainclub Hotel Ronach

We stayed with our family (kids 8 and 10) during the Christmas holiday. Food was amazing, room was cleaned every day, kids had plenty of friends to play with after we came back from skiing. Great facilities for skis and shoes to store them and very friendly staff. Skibus stops for the door but if you want to go by car that is easy as well. We definitely come back next year.

Slight delay on fir this review. We went as a group of 13 in early February 2025. We all thought someone else in the group had posted a review! We went on a ski holiday - 13 of us including a teenager. We were the only English group in the hotel. We were made to feel very welcome by all the team and fellow guests. Christine and the team were fantastic when our flight was delayed on the first evening. Extremely tasty meals were provided for the awkward group - one veggie, 2 x shellfish allergies, one intolerance to bell peppers and another one with special requirements! Mike in the bar, Nick during evening service and Vivi at lunch time were really stood out. However, everyone went out of their way to help us, explain menus and help with getting about - especiallythe women at dinner, i think they found us both amusing and strange at times! The food was fantastic and plentiful, the bar was reasonably priced and our rooms were large, well equipped and spacious. I'm the vegetarian and i habe to say the veggie options for me were great. I had many really interesting and flavoursome meals. Although the hotel was just outside the village the ski bus ran frequently and I walked back to the hotel on a few occasions via the trails. It was only 1.5 miles. The ski areas were in great condition with really decent lifts. We would return - thank you Team Hotel Ronach! Plus the hotel dog was gorgeous!

Hotel is outside the village, wonderfully quiet. Ski bus stops in front of the door. Last bus from Königsleiten leaves at 17.00. Rooms are good. The food is excellent, rich breakfast buffet and dinner daily choice of meat, fish or vegetarian. Cooking is at a high level. The service takes all the time for you and is very helpful. Homely atmosphere partly due to the hotel dog who likes to be cited. We will definitely go back again.
