Hotel Daniel

What a really nice surprise it was to find out about Hotel Daniel! We had intentionally booked to be near the railway and bus station, but had not figured the walking distance would be ridiculously short. In spite of this, including the nearby motor traffic, sound-proofing in the room proved to be excellent. The room had a very pleasant feel, definitely on account of the original decor, but also the view from the balcony on the 5th floor added an extra appeal. Everything very clean. The only down side, perhaps, an unusually small safe, which could not contain anything valuable of a decent size. On the other hand, the shower was one of the most spacious I've ever had in a hotel room. The staff themselves were very professional and nice to interact with. We were positively surprised to learn that anything found in the minibar was already included in our rate, which was great. Looking forward to be back.

The room, despite the cleaning, had a sink in the bathroom (which we had seen at the Time of booking) but shower and toilet with a single sliding door without a ventilation system, honestly even if it is a design feature, it is not very functional. Good breakfast. Paid parking and also a €18 fee for the dog. Distance From the center, not excessive but not too close either Close. Not very welcoming atmosphere. Nothing particularly negative, but I would not return.
