Romantik Parkhotel

The family-run traditional hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the old town. Tram line No. 1 stops directly in front of the hotel, with which you can easily travel to the center or to Eggenberg Palace without changing trains. There are plenty of parking spaces in the inner courtyard, some of which are covered. Those who book the hotel directly can even park for free. The check-in was professional, polite, accommodating, and competent. Our booked suite was an excellent size. Although located on the street side, it was pleasantly quiet due to the double-paned windows. Overall, the hotel is furnished with great style and taste. It radiates a cozy tranquility everywhere. In good weather, dinner is served outside in the small garden in the courtyard. The quality of the food offered was excellent. The service staff was also very well trained, which speaks for good management. The breakfast was good and in line with the standard of the establishment. Conclusion: We can recommend the hotel without reservation.

This is a lovely hotel. The location is great. It is walking distance to parks, university, downtown and the farmers' market. A tram stop is a three minute walk from the hotel. The front desk staff are efficient and friendly. Special thanks to Carina at the front desk. Thanks too to Marla, Mercedes, Mr. Baumgartner, Julia and Yannik and everyone else who was at the front desk helping me and whose names evade me while writing the review (sorry). Each person contributed something special to my stay. Breakfast is important and thank you to Anna in the kitchen for my breakfast egg requests. What are eggs without chives? Thank you Thomas for introducing me to the chives. Also good coffee is important so thank you to Mila in the restaurant. All the early morning breakfast staff are thanked for all they provide to the guests. Rooms are super clean. Thanks too to Robert, Natalia and Grace in housekeeping.

The Park Hotel is a traditional, family-run hotel in the city center. It offers modern facilities and good service. The location is impressive, and one feels at home there.
