Thermenhof PuchasPLUS Loipersdorf at 16:40 after a long, exhausting 4-hour drive, only to step into a complete nightmare. The woman at the reception was visibly drunk. She smelled strongly of alcohol, was barely coherent, spoke only German, and completely lost our reservation.After she finally located the booking, a new saga began: she spent 40 minutes looking for our room key. She claimed that the previous guests "probably took the key with them" and eventually handed us a spare key. We arrived at 16:40 and were only able to enter our room at 17:25!When we realized how unsafe and absurd the situation was, we spoke to another branch representative on the phone who promised we could cancel with a full refund. Minutes later, they took it back and refused to return our money. When we asked to speak to the manager, we were told he was on vacation in Thailand, and this drunk receptionist was the actual person left in charge. To make matters worse, while we were trying to communicate and solve the issue, she literally laughed in our faces. We were forced to stay only because they refused to refund our money. This is completely unprofessional, unsafe, and disrespectful.The only saving grace and shining light of this hotel was the rest of the staff. The cleaning lady was absolutely amazing (Wow!). She spoke English, understood every single request immediately, and made sure everything was perfectly sorted and clean. Additionally, the ladies at the dining room were incredibly sweet, polite, and provided excellent service. Shame on management for leaving such a great team under the responsibility of a dysfunctional receptionist.Would not recommend at all!

Very nice, small hotel. We felt very comfortable 7ns. Breakfast very good. Staff very nice. Thermal baths just a few minutes away. Had unfortunately a room facing the street and could not leave the window open at night. Can highly recommend the place. We will come back again

The small hotel is very clean and the breakfast has everything your heart desires. Very friendly staff. Uschi, the manager, and the boss Josef are both people with heart. Unfortunately, that is not the case everywhere anymore. I can only recommend the hotel to everyone.
