Vital Hotel Zum Ritter

We were there for the weekend. In itself a nice hotel. Wellness area and rooms very nice, food was tasty, staff in the restaurant very friendly. Location in the middle of Tannheim very good. Bus right in front of the front door. Unfortunately, 2 things did not go well. There are no vegan options for food; we were even called to be informed of this. There was not even plant-based milk available. As a result, we had specifically brought oat milk with us and were then pleasantly surprised, because there was almond milk and oat milk (which, by the way, also ran out and a new one was there). The other point was the pedicure. I have never experienced anything like this. Rough, fast, and not done well! And that for 49 euros. Feet were not washed, not filed well, calluses were not treated well, and the nail is scratched because it was not treated properly. Now I also know why the lady absolutely wanted to apply clear polish to me; the emphasis was on it being free of charge.

Excellent hotel and very good restaurant, otherwise a perfect location for trips. Furthermore, a Tannheimertal map for free use of various cable cars for hiking routes in the mountains. Hotel is definitely recommended.

I was eating at the hotel and was suggested a buffet meal at 19:00. The buffet was not properly set up. The spits were almost all lukewarm and not quite fresh anymore. Furthermore, some templates were in a very messy condition and unappealing. The chips very dried out. The Kösespätzle above complete. Crusty. The complete meat display dried out by the radiant heaters. For a 4 star hotel this was not enough
