Hotel Zentral

Great hotel in a wonderful location. Our room (Kirchberg Suite 501) was fantastic with a huge balcony and amazing views. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful and spotless (it really was a good as the photos which isn't always the case). Unusually for us we decided to opt for half board and have to say the food was excellent. The buffet breakfast had a wide choice and the evening meal (4 courses) was also great although the salad buffet followed by our choice of main course were usually more than sufficient for us. The location is excellent with access to a lot of the alpine lifts in a short bus, train or car ride and the station and bus stops are very close by. The town itself is lovely with a few shops, bike hire, and several bars and restaurants. And finally the staff ... everyone was so nice and helpful and certainly added to our overall experience. We feel we are quite discerning in our choices of where we stay and with our feedback so its rare for us to heap praise on like this. We stayed 5 nights and often the gloss starts to fade after a few days, but not for us, not here. We are already thinking about when we will return for our next visit.

First sight shows a beautiful and modern hotel. Upon entering there is a large bar with terrace and an equally large lounge area. You walk directly into the reception where the employee explains very friendly and correct how everything in the hotel works. I got the key (digi card) to suite 507 on the 5th floor. Via the elevator I reach the suite is really clean. Large bed, storage cupboard with fridge and safe. The separate sauna immediately catches the eye. The bathroom with walk-in shower is also very spacious and a separate toilet. Then there is also a corner sofa with flat screen TV. And a large private balcony. Parking the car is free. The staff is friendly and very helpful. There is one employee who stands out in terms of professionalism and friendliness. That's Anni serving dinner. Chapeau hears how she takes care of all that perfectly. Breakfast is really very good. The 4-course dinner is served at the table. This hotel is highly recommended.

We stayed in early March for a long weekend, 4 nights at the Hotel Zentral Kirchberg. The hotel is excellently located just 3 minutes walk from the main food supermarket, 5 minutes walk to the ski bus stop and 5 minutes walk to two ski hire shops and ski lessons centre. Staff are very friendly and rooms are really modern and very clean. We booked a classic double room of 23 m2 and got upgraded to a Fleckalm suite of 35 m2 with a great large balcony & views of the mountains at the back of the hotel. Room was very new, well equipped and the bathroom was very large with a bath plus large walk in shower. There was a lockable safe and a fridge in the room but no tea making facilities. We paid around € 50 each per night for dinner which included an extensive salad, soup, starter buffet, a choice of meat, fish or vegetarian main course and desert per evening. Drinks to order extra but tap water was provided for free. The quality of food was very high, also extensive breakfast buffet and value for money compared to what you would pay in nearby restaurants. The Spa area is great with large sauna, infra red sauna, two steam baths plus about 12 relaxing sun loungers. It was open every day from 16:00 until 21:00. Bath robes provided at reception, towels in the spa but no slippers. The staff were also very helpful. Nice bar with a piano player a couple of times a week and a really good bar/terrace space which gets the sun every afternoon. Prices in the bar reasonable for a Kirchberg 4* hotel. Probably the best hotel in Kirchberg would definitely return and recommend.
