Himmlhof

My husband and I were at the Himmlhof for two nights in mid-August – and what can I say: It was an absolute dream! Everything not only met our expectations but exceeded them 100%. We felt welcome the moment we arrived. The hospitality of all the staff and especially the warmth of the owners Margarete, Sebastian, and Chris were something very special – it actually felt a bit like coming home. The ambiance is beautiful, and you can tell everywhere that every single detail was chosen with much love and care. There were little treats to snack on everywhere, and the breakfast buffet was simply fantastic. The decor and the rooms – each unique in its own way – are incredibly tasteful and cozy. Austrian tradition was beautifully combined with modern elegance and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the spa and pool area was sooo relaxing and cozy. A little finishing touch was the afternoon snack with a savory treat and delicious cake – simply perfect! The team's recommendations for hikes and restaurants were also exactly what we had hoped for. You can simply tell that work is done here with a lot of heart and that the hosts truly know their guests and care about their well-being. We are already looking at when we can come back – and would love to experience the Himmlhof in winter for skiing as well. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team and especially to Margarete, Sebastian, and Chris, who made our stay so unique and special. We are already looking forward to the next time!

Wonderful stay. Highly recommend. Hotel is beautiful and perfect location. The spa was relaxing and very enjoyable. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff and owners of the hotel went over and above to ensure we had a comfortable enjoyable stay. We will be back.

This is our 2nd time in St Anton and there was no question we would stay again at the Himmlhof. We’ve traveled all over the world and this continues to be one of our favorite hotels and locations to visit. The hotel, location, wellness, and breakfasts are great but what really makes this experience is the Family Penz. The warmth with which they treat their guests and the amazing help and recommendations they provide while always ensuring you are enjoying your stay and the area make a huge difference. The recommendations for hikes, biking, and restaurants Christopher and Lisa made on this visit were fantastic. If you’re visiting in the summer the addition of the premium summer card is a huge benefit - this is a fantastic value if you love the lifts, biking, and other experiences.
