Unfortunately, it is not acceptable to find a four-star hotel or higher lacking air conditioning, with rooms that are not adequately soundproofed and with inadequate staff. To this is added the fact that it is located far from the center, poorly served by a bus that passes about every hour and only during a few hours of the day. The hotel is located above the very busy Innsbruck-Garmisch state road and the noise penetrates the rooms, effectively making the stay not relaxing. We had booked only a short stay at this hotel because we prefer higher-category hotels, but incredibly, even that one, always in the same location, lacked air conditioning in the rooms, which makes us doubt the classification system used. Extremely high tourist tax for the services provided: a few bus connections in a limited area that does not include Innsbruck and only 3 train stations included from Reith to Scharnitz, with the result that it is always necessary to use the car to get around. Floor staff impatient with every request, given that even the essential beauty kit and a simple kettle are missing upon arrival. Highly inefficient reception staff. In front of the entrance, there are many charging spaces for electric vehicles (which, by the way, are paid), but they are always occupied by combustion engine cars, with the consequent impossibility of charging ours. We reported the fact several times to the reception, which did not take action to clear the spaces and have the vehicles that were improperly occupying the charging areas removed. In other hotels, after a while, the vehicles were moved by the owners who were tracked down or removed. Here, no one intervened for days, to the point that, exasperated, we called the police, who, however, could not intervene because the charging areas are considered private areas. Therefore, the removal had to be carried out directly by the owner of the area. I would simply like to point out that there are people like us who, while on one hand do not look at the price requested, on the other hand always expect attentive, punctual, professional, and personalized service and do not accept rooms without a quality beauty kit upon arrival and, above all, without air conditioning. We will not return to this location.

The hotel was newly renovated, so the rooms were top-notch. They are very spacious and there is plenty of room. The location is wonderful, the only negative point is the main road directly in front of the hotel. You cannot hear anything in the pool, but unfortunately it is recommended to close the window in the room.

The hotel is no where near how excellent it used to be. Lots of cheap short cuts to mention here and primarily to increase profits but at what expense? Losing loyal customers-? Been visiting this place for years - swimming pool falling apart with loose tiles, afternoon ‘tea’ where you pay extra for the tea? No mineral water in rooms, use tap water sign added , dinner quality and variety poor. Breakfast and restaurant waiting staff were probably the saving grace and the location next to the slopes. we as a family are sad about this - staff in reception also behaved odd with school headmistress type behaviour. Sadly after visiting for over 13 years this was our last.
