Josl Mountain Lounging Hotel

Had a great stay here for a week's skiing in the region. The welcome was quick, efficient and very friendly. Our room was modern, super comfortable and with plenty of cupboard space (with decent hangers!). The TV also had access to UK channels which made such a refreshing change from only having 24 Sky News as we have had in other hotels for years. The food in the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was superb. From the warm fresh bread each morning, the wonderful selection of soups and salads to start each evening and the fine dining quality of the food and wine served everyday. The choice was tremendous and the quality of service was impeccable. We made use of the pool and saunas a few times. They were always very clean and peaceful, with a plentiful amount of towels and a robe provided in the bedroom. The outdoor pool although small was always empty of people on the days I used it - more views for me! The staff were absolutely fantastic: from Barbara and Alessandro on reception, Kirsten and Zoltan in the bar (great Negronis) and David & Edina in the restaurant. You, and all your colleagues, worked so hard and diligently (and always with a smile) to make our stay so comfortable and memorable. Well done everyone. We do hope to go back to Obergurgl again soon and will definitely stay here again.

Great stay we felt very comfortable, super nice staff

Great hotel location near the lift station. Hotel staff were all super friendly and helpful with anything required. The hotel was also very, very clean which was made it comfortable. Food and service excellent. Kristin on the desk, David the sommelier and Barbera behind the bar were did everything they could to make you welcome and the stay enjoyable. Great spa/pool area too. The ski and boot room was adequate and served its purpose. Overall really good hotel for a fun weeks’ skiing.
