BRUGGER S GENIESSERHOTEL LANER

Truly a gourmet hotel, sympathetically family-run and in a perfect and quiet location directly at the cable car and the ski bus stop. We were already there for the fifth time, the kitchen is really on gourmet level, plus extremely well-stocked wine cellar with great advice and cozy rooms equipped with great care. We booked directly again on departure!

Basically a nice hotel and very good food in the restaurant. But unfortunately we were rushed through the 5-course menus. Served new courses without prior request, even once when my 20-year-old son had not even finished the previous course. The plate was simply placed next to it. An unding at 4 stars. Also, the staff dropped remarks such as "congratulations" when we were done with an aisle. There was no salad in the snack 30 minutes before the end. On request, the clock was looked at unwillingly with the remark "actually we are through" and then salad put down again. We are used to better things from the competition. It's too bad.

We just spent a little week in this hotel we discovered 30 years ago... and the emotions are still intact. Owned by the same family, this place is a true haven of luxury, well-being and humanity. The welcome is warm, kind, attentive: you really feel pampered, almost like privileged guests. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The wellness area is remarkable: swimming pool heated to 29 °, saunas, infrared cabin... a happiness after an active day. The area is beautiful and varied: hikes in the snow, glacier nearby, Innsbruck is not so far... And what about cooking? Remarkable gourmet dinners and sumptuous breakfasts. An unforgettable Christmas stay in an exceptional house that we found with the same joy as 30 years ago!
