Hotel Continental

Worst experience ever. Unacceptable behavior. There is an old, extremely rude man at the reception who completely ignored us to set up tables. When we spoke up, he aggressively yelled at us to 'learn to wait' and insulted us. He then told us to cancel and leave. My 2.5-year-old son was terrified by his aggressive behavior. He speaks with an incomprehensible, hostile accent and almost threw the keys at our faces. He refused to show or even explain where our room was; we had to find it ourselves. We came here based on a past recommendation, but there is clearly a massive, disastrous change in management. This place is absolutely horrific. Avoid at all costs.To make matters worse, the safety situation is a complete scandal. The hotel starts on the 1st floor of the building. The key that opens the main entrance door is exactly the same key that opens your room door. Crucially, every single guest in the hotel has this exact same key. This means that every guest effectively holds a master key and can enter your room at any moment. There is absolutely no personal safety or security for your belongings. Anyone could unlock your door and walk in while you are sleeping or when you are out. This setup completely violates basic hospitality security standards. Do not stay here!

Basic, but a clean and nice room with comfortable beds and impressively quiet, very friendly and helpful owners, great breakfast and great location.

Everything is fantastic! Huge bedroom, with two bathrooms! Impeccable cleanliness and very kind and helpful staff. Excellent location near the center. What can I say... highly recommended indeed!
