The hotel is very good, comfortable and with excellent, varied, breakfast. Staff are first class. We had no complaints with our room (very good beds and lots of space all around). Mariahilferstrasse is central and the hotel is close to the Underground. It 's a busy shopping street with many familiar chain store brands, also an English cinema a few doors down from the hotel which we enjoyed visiting, but there's much evidence of homelessness, of sleeping in doorways and we were frequently approached by beggars (non-aggressively). Not worse than London's Oxfor St., but no better either. The immediate area surrounding the entrance to the hotel lobby is drab and dirty. Cars can only approach via Lindenstrasse at the back of the hotel, not via Mariahilferstrasse.

Rather central hotel, on a pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants. Rooms are of normal size, but there is noticeable poor maintenance. There is no bidet in the bathroom. Good and varied breakfast, but unfortunately if you find yourself in the other wing of the hotel, you have to go down to the reception, cross it, and go back up to the first floor. We stayed for 4 nights, for a total cost of about 600 euros including breakfast (booked 4 months in advance).

Excellent location, luxurious room and very clean room. The room is very quiet and there are no disturbing noises from outside.
