A&O City Stadthalle

My stay at a&o Wien Stadthalle was an absolute nightmare, and it was by far the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. Beyond poor service standards, I experienced a severe violation of privacy and unacceptable room conditions. ​I would like to highlight the following points: ​Privacy and Personal Belongings: The fact that your staff handled and packed my personal belongings into bags without my consent or notification is completely unacceptable. This intrusion into my private space destroyed any trust I had in your safety and security standards. ​Room Conditions: The room was in a disgraceful state, infested with cobwebs and insects. It fell far below any basic standard of livability. ​Service Failures: On top of these issues, the unfair parking charges and the general lack of professional conduct made it clear that this establishment is managed very poorly. Also, without mentioning that guests can't enter breakfast room twice, your staff told us it is impossible to even drink a glass of water. ​Sending me a satisfaction survey instead of addressing these major violations shows a complete lack of responsibility. I have already filed official complaints via Booking.com, feedback@aohostels.com and directly to hostel staff regarding these issues and have requested a full refund. I expect you to take accountability for these serious breaches rather than just sending automated feedback requests.

Unfortunately, a complete wreck where forgotten things are sadly judged as gifts from the guests. Dirty, loud, and stuffy. You can't get a wink of sleep at night... You have to miss that!

The internet was down the day I arrived, and even though I told the reception, they said they couldn't help me. No one came to clean the room for 3 nights. The breakfast wasn't even mediocre; they charge an extra 10 Euros, but it lacked variety and was tasteless. The rooms are very noisy. The mattresses are made by cutting them directly from foam. He doesn't even deserve half the money. Wretched
