DO & CO Hotel

We have stayed at this luxurious establishment numerous times in both the Deluxe Suite and the Dome suite. One offers 180 degree views , the other a large terrace overlooking St Stephen’s Cathedral and with this being Christmas a picturesque view of a Christmas Market. This is the best location in Vienna. Gorgeous suites with onyx bar that light up gold , well maintained with nice furniture and luxury linens….and a view for days! Bathroom equipped with rain shower, jacuzzi bath and separate water closet adds to the perfection of the suite. The bath products are all lovely and the towels fluffy. There is also a half bath off the living room ( both suites) But what makes this luxury hotel stand out is their amazing staff, nothing is too big of an ask and everyone goes out of their way to make your experience perfect. Enormous thank you to their phenomenal Manager Jana. No words can express our gratitude. You simply make every ask appear easy. To Steffi and Simon with your endless smiles, quick wit and engaging words you made every moment a delight. Thank you. Steffi, knew I’d suffered food poisoning in Brussels. She went way out of her way to ensure we were well taken care of while we waited for our suite to open. We’d arrived on a very early flight so this was no small feat. Draken, we’ve known you for years now and your warmth , generosity and sweetness never go unnoticed, Thank you. From housekeeping to front desk we were treated like family. This is the only place we’d stay in Vienna and this was our 10th trip.

We were really disappointed in the staff and quality of the hotel. The staff was not very friendly and not very helpful. Waited extra time for them to have the room ready after they said it would be ready by a certain time. We also waited an hour for them to come and fix the air in the room. Lastly while in the restroom we found underwear that did not belong to anyone in my family. That shows they were not thorough with their cleaning. The location is nice yes but the hotel and staff is not worth the amount you pay.

The hotel is located in the legendary Haas-Haus on Stephansplatz. This central location is what makes the hotel special. Our room was of international standard. We were there over New Year's Eve - then the price blew up the good feeling: 1000.-€/night is already an announcement.
