Very good hotel. All very cheap and not very nice. Staff was very nice but everything else has come of age.

Located in the far west of Vienna, Lenas West is a simple 3* hotel. In front of the hotel, one of the main arteries leads towards the city centre. The back is facing the Lainzer Tiergarten (a fenced forest recreation area). On the quite large site there was in earlier years a motorway rest station, which is now orphaned. Many parking spaces are still available, but can only be used by hotel guests.
The rooms are functional, the beds are on relatively low legs, the mattresses are fine. Our bathroom was equipped with bathtub and shower curtain, a plug for the bathtub was not available. Fön was also in the bathroom.
The cleanliness was very good, the towels were changed daily although we lt. Stop in the bathroom had NOT placed on the floor. Everything worked, no burned-out light bulbs, no cut-off corners, a neat shower curtain. A simple but obviously very well run budget hotel.
The rooms are soundproofed - but in midsummer we preferred to open the window and turn on the floor fan, which is also in the room. Although we had a room out towards the busy main road, the noise level at night was not bad - the house is still a few meters further back and the existing trees significantly mitigated the traffic noise.
Breakfast costs € 9.50 extra. They had announced us “Continental Breakfast”, in fact we found a simple but very decent buffet breakfast.
Coffee, milk, tea, various juices, cereals, sausage and cheese plates, bread, pastries, cakes, tomatoes, peppers - all there.
Fortunately, the main rush to the buffet was filled just as quickly as the guests had emptied the trays. At no time has anything been unavailable.
The house should be especially popular with tour groups. At night there were 5 large buses outside the hotel. You are very well attuned to groups but also manage to look after the individual guests appropriately. Generally, the staff is friendly and helpful.
For travelers by car or bike probably one of the cheapest hotels in Vienna (bike route to the city center directly behind the house). The public connection to the Wiener Linien is unfortunately not available or requires at least a 20-minute walk.
If you have a choice, I recommend booking a room towards the Lainzer Tiergarten out.

First and inhumane is on my arrival as a disabled person that the two disabled parking spaces are parked by the hotel's own bus and another car! We just hinder the disabled. The bathtub can only be used as a shower as the closure is missing. At the desk, if it should be one, a socket is missing and the bed can only be entered laterally on one side. The toilet flush jams and after several attempts the flush works. When you get up from the shell, you inevitably bump your head. The ventilation, or whatever that is supposed to be, is more than measly and in the prevailing temperatures you have to open the window by necessity. What does sound insulation do?
