Mercure Secession

Great location for a base for exploring the city. Wonderful service from check-in to check-out. We stayed in room 408 - very comfortable, roomy bathroom, quiet and clean. The breakfast presentation was outstanding, even offering a glass of Prosecco. The generosity of the host deserves special mention. Cosy atmosphere that you don't get with the big chains.

We stayed 5 days in December 2025, fantastic hotel, clean, spacious room with everything you need, friendly and professional staff, breakfast included in our package, plentiful and varied every day changed both in sweet and salty, I highly recommend it.

We stayed for 5 nights in November 2025. The location of the hotel is ideal - 10 minutes walk from most of the top attractions in the city and in easy reach of the excellent Cafe Museum (a must) and a great wine bar a few steps away from the hotel door! The hotel is clean. The room had everything we needed. It is a professional family owned hotel rather than a soulless corporate place. The owners / staff were very helpful and gave us good advice about Christmas markets etc. There is a small bar area in the reception - ideal for a coffee or a night cap!
