Can't report anything positive about this accommodation! Neither accommodating nor solution-oriented proposals. Really sad!

We chose this accommodation as it was described as a 3 generation family run business. Most businesses with this description are kind, caring and invested in their customers; not this one. We booked in July 2024 directly with the property only to find there was no booking and Vienna was completely booked out! There is no one at the property to assist as it’s all self check in. The person on the contact phone number who is offsite had no access to the booking records or availability as it was sitting at the property. Everything was blamed on the receptionist. Yes, they found one nights accommodation somewhere else, but we needed 4 and we had events prebooked. The final straw was sitting in reception searching madly for alternative accommodation at 2-3 times the price minimum and hearing other guests going to the bathroom! It seemed like a good idea at the time to book here but I cannot recommend this property at all! If you want to advertise yourself as being a family run business, then be there for your guests. Completely unsatisfying.

Having booked 2 rooms back in August, and had a confirmation email, we arrived to find no receptionist - just a pile of keys in envelopes. None had our names on. We called several numbers and finally spoke to someone who could offer us another hotel at 3 times the price but for only one of our 4 nights. Whilst there another gentleman arrived and the same thing happened. We spent 2 hours searching for a hotel that wasn’t 1000 euros a night and had to settle for an airport room at double the cost. This experience completely ruined our relaxing weekend break and the hotel totally refused to take responsibility despite having confirmation emails from 6 months. An absolute disgrace
