Savoyen

We really liked our room. We had booked a double room (no. 321) and a twin room (no. 322) on the third floor of the hotel. These adjoining rooms had a connecting door, which we left open throughout our stay. This was a handy way to move from one room to the other. The rooms were clean and tidy. The bathroom was spacious. The beds were comfortable and extra pillows were provided. We had a mini-fridge in our room (322), but not in 321. The air conditioning was easy to operate and our room was well cooled throughout our stay (outside temperature: 35 °C/95 °F). Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of dishes. The staff are friendly and professional. The hotel’s location is excellent. You can reach it very easily via the S-Bahn line S7 from the airport, without having to change trains. This line continues on to Wien Mitte. There is also tram line 71, which runs directly to the famous Ringstrasse in the centre of Vienna, and tram line O, which runs to Wien Hauptbahnhof / Central Station. We would definately stay here again next time.

We are on a multiweek tour through Europe and this was a lovely find. We recently stayed 4 nights.The hotel is tastefully decorated, well organized, and the staff was wonderful. It even smelled nice throughout the property. We did not try any of the amenities, so I cannot comment on those. Location wise, it is great. There are plenty of places to eat and do some quick shopping in the immediate area. It is very close to tram and bus stops, and the neighborhood felt clean and safe even after dark. Bonus for us, it had a min fridge. With a teen in the party, we have a tendency to have food and drink stashed everywhere:) If you want to be in the middle of the main tourist areas, this may not be the best location. However, most attractions are only a short tram or bus ride away. We reserved a Superior room and it was very spacious, with two twin beds. After a couple of smaller hotel stays elsewhere on this trip, the extra space was much appreciated. The room was very quiet only every once in a while heard people above us and I think that was actually housekeeping vacuuming. My only complaint is the shower/tub combination (see photo). The tub has a very high step in and an equally high step out. I am 5'8" and found it surprisingly awkward and a little concerning. My daughter is 5'2" and a teen, and felt the same way. Neither of us has mobility issues, but we both thought a fall could easily result in an injury. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay here again. The spacious room, convenient location, and excellent staff outweighed our concerns about the shower design. The price we paid was definitely fair compared to the property and location. I would definitely stay here, and I will be recommending it.

It is my favorite hotel every time I reach Vienna to hug my son. It is comfortable, clean, with excellent breakfast, close to the metro and tram. At the airport, the Renweg stop gets you to the hotel right away. With the 71, you go downtown. I feel at home🤗
