Flemings Deluxe Hotel Wien-City

The hotel is really potentially very beautiful. I say potentially because we stayed two nights at this property which, instead of closing totally or partially for work, decided to remain active despite internal renovation work in progress. The fact that the hotel had work in progress was obviously only communicated to us upon arrival and both mornings the work woke us up early. But this is just one of the problems because what in my opinion is the most serious is that we left the hotel at 9 in the morning and returned at 4 PM and found the room not made up and not even the towels changed…the next day the attendant instead showed up at 9 in the morning entering by knocking lightly and despite the negative response he entered the room!!!! It's all a shame because the property is beautiful and the room is very large and well-made, furthermore the area where it is located is very central and well-connected.

We stayed for three nights starting on 7/13... the attention at the front desk was quite poor, not to say bad; they weren't even capable of calling a taxi! The hotel is under construction so there is constant noise, the smell of paint and dust; they sent us to a room in a basement right below the construction work, the only elevator there was permanently occupied by the builders. Regarding the services, they cleaned the room only once, the breakfast is very poor in relation to similar hotels we went to on the trip, at the time of check-out it was the only one of the 5 hotels we stayed at that didn't offer a breakfast box when you leave the hotel very early, they don't have laundry service... The shower is made of glass and is in the middle of the room; we have traveled quite a bit and never saw anything like it. Of course we will never return, nor would we recommend it to anyone

Great location and welcoming reception staff. Unusual layout in bedroom with a glass enclosed shower in the room. Whilst I realise this may be a feature for some - it wasn’t for me. We also had a single room where the shower was separated by a wall which I found more appealing. Great to be able to park on the surrounding streets overnight.
